Don’t have a ticket? You can purchase one at the door starting at 8pm on a first-come, first-served basis if there is space. No “standby” attendees have been turned away from the previous 7 seminars.
If you are holding a ticket remember to show up before 8pm so that your seat isn’t given away to a standby attendee.

Update: It may have taken a week to give away 120 seats for free for my first seminar in Crown Heights some 18 months ago but all 500 seats for this seminar have now sold out in just 3 hours!

Due to the Teaneck seminar selling out so quickly I’m adding another NYC area seminar for the night afterward!
The 8th DansDeals seminar will be on Wednesday night, January 8th at 8pm.
It will be located at the Young Israel of Lawrence-Cedarhurst, 8 Spruce Street, Cedarhurst, NY 11516.

The cost of admission is $10. Light refreshments will be served.
The entire ticket price will go directly to charity to benefit The Levi Yitzchak Family Center and Library, the organizers of this event.
In a very short time, the Levi Yitzchak Family Center and Library has become an integral part of our local Jewish Community. The Library is always buzzing with visitors both children and adults. It is great place to find an ever-growing array of Jewish books on a wide range of topics. Furthermore, the programs and school trips facilitate an even greater connection within the Community. The Levi Yitzchak Library has grown to become a go-to place for learning and fun for different ages, all in the merit of a beautiful young boy who loved learning Torah. Special thanks to Gary Wallin Music and Entertainment for providing equipment for the event and to Gourmet Glatt Emporium for providing light refreshments for the event.
You will have to designate who will be attending as tickets are non-transferable.
-Men and Women ages 15 and older are welcome to attend, no kids please.
-Recording devices and photography of the slides are not allowed so be sure to bring something to take notes with!
Schedule:
7:30pm: Doors open. Failure to show up by 8:00pm may result in your seat being given away to someone else.
8:00pm-9:00pm: Seminar Part 1-Credit Cards and mileage earning on a beginner to intermediate level.
9:00pm-9:15pm: Intermission
9:15pm-10:30pm: Seminar Part 2-More advanced tips and tricks for mileage redemption, paid flights, hotel stays, car rentals, etc.
10:30pm: Trivia and Q&A session.
-If you are a beginner: Hopefully you will learn a lot, but I cover many subjects in a relatively short period of time. Don’t feel bad if you don’t understand many things or if you start to feel lost, feel free to stay afterward and I’ll clarify them. Or better yet start reading the DansDeals Forums where you can learn more about anything you want to know. There won’t be time to explain most subjects at length, so take good notes of the concepts, and read more about them after the seminar on DansDeals.com and on the DansDeals Forums.
-If you are on an intermediate level: You may know of many of the concepts I talk about but you should still learn more than enough to make attending worth your time and effort.
-If you are on an expert level: You probably already know most of what I’m going to talk about so feel free to attend, but don’t expect 2.5 hours of new information, it may be a complete waste of your time. Some experts have told me that it was worthwhile, others have said it was not, I guess it depends on what kind of expert you are 🙂
Seating is limited so book your ticket first and then tell your friends

Hi Dan! Ever consider hosting a seminar over video conference/webex so that you can reach a larger audience? I’d love to attend one in-person but have moved overseas to the UK for work. It could be a great way to raise a large amount of money for The Levi Yitzchak Family Center or any other charity. Just an idea! 🙂
First half was low level. Good for someone who never read.
Second part was good.
I would organize it a bit better. even more basic stuff had Some holes. happy to help with next event.

Dan your a beast. So much so, I would like to give my opinion on the seminar. You displayed you prowess over the whole CC/Miles art. It’s unreal. In my opinion, I think the seminar was for intermediate for the most part then towards the end were for more advanced. It wasn’t that the concepts were that hard, but rather the speed you deliver them at. Obviously with so much to talk about in so little time you’re not to blame in the least. So this is more of a PSA. Either study up or be ready to be blown away. Either way, Thanks Dan.

YILC has a parking lot but it is not that big (Probably 30-45 spots) There is parking on the surrounding side streets but be careful to look at signs, some of the streets only allow parking on one side and may have times restrictions. I am sure the Nassau County cops will not miss the opportunity to hit their quotas tonight.

I am coming without my husband and would appreciate a mechitzah, where ladies can sit comfortably, not bumping into a man sitting on their side, or subject to men checking out ladies fashion trends. Not appropriate. really. Please offer us respect, and allow us to sit in a ladies only area.
YILC is a huge shul, why not move the seminar to the ballroom or the main shul and open it up to more people. I would like to go but there are no more tickets

In LA we had some sections that were mixed and some that were separate, I’d imagine we would try to do the same to accommodate everyone but there will not be a mechitza.
I’m not doing any refunding or transferring of tickets, but we’re not going to check ID at the door. If you have a ticket you’ll be allowed in.
