Watch The Indians Try To Break The AL Record For Consecutive Wins For Free

Today’s game is now live and MLB.TV is offering free streaming for the game in markets outside of Cleveland. Of course, T-Mobile subscribers were able to watch the whole season for free with this deal.

The Indians are on one of the most incredible winning streaks with 20 wins in a row. They can break the Oakland A’s 2002 “moneyball” 20 game winning streak with a victory today. They’ll also tie the 21 game winning streak set by the Cubs in 1935 with a win today.

If the Tribe can win today and tomorrow they will set the MLB record for consecutive wins. Sure, the 1916 Giants had 26 wins in a row, but back then there were tie games and a tie occurred after they won 12 games of that streak. So that’s more of an unbeaten streak than a winning streak…

Whatever winds up happening, it’s been a pretty amazing #Windians streak. They’re playing baseball on a level that’s rarely been seen before.

Hopefully they can keep this level of play going in October 🙂

Even with 21 in a row, the dodgers have a better record

sweet dreams, best record ever was Seattle Mariners 2001, Cubs 1016 and both got nowhere in the playoffs. so when october rolls around, wins are meaningless.

Prior to 2001, the 1998 Yankees had the most wins in season and oh yes……………..they won it all

That’s because the Mariners lost to the Yankees in 2001
I believe the Cubs won the WS in 2016

Speaking of watching, on WFAN today they remarked that despite the winning streak, Cleveland fans are not watching the game at the Jake…averaging 20,000 per game…
