Hertz points DO expire so this is good stuff.
@anonymous mine expired once without me realizing it so I called to complain saying I didn’t know and they gave me it back

You can do that for airline awards too, though some people have reported that they still lost points like that.

To extend points is to make a points reservation and cancel it
Pretty sure its now 675 per day
i have previously called hertz and the csr told me that even though the website says points expire, they don’t actually expire – thank you for the free points though!!
