That worked, but I have never even considered using Thank You points.
I only have it since I have a Citi checking account and get points every month for the activity in the account (I never use my debit card for any purchases)
its worth using thank you points bec on the elite premium pass cc – the award tickets are based on price – up to $400 is 20,000 pts. right now a ticket would be 45,000 miles or more in any other program.
Personally I aim to get 5-15 cents on the mile, so TY points with their capped value aren’t all that attractive.
The 20,000 point redemption does make TY points one of the best of the “wannabe-miles” currencies that can’t be transferred into real miles. (unlike AMEX MR/Starwood/Diners Club which can be transferred.)
I do get a nice chunk TY points for free every month for having a Citi checking account, but I wouldn’t switch my spending from Starwood to TY anytime soon.
worked like a charm-thanks!
it tells me it has been used already 🙁
worked for both of my accounts! Awesome!

Also, expedia pays for the ticket so you can get miles on your award seat with the airline.
It all depends what you use mileage for.
