    @Liv: Hey,
    Dan has posted many times that if you want to start getting credit cards but have not yet done so, if you don’t have a good credit score: the way to do it is sign up for either a gap, old navy, banana card which are very easy to get accepted for, pay your bills on time for a few months and then you should be good to sign up for a regular card. Enjoy!

    Hey Dan, thanks so much for your blog and the wealth of knowledge you have to offer, and for helping your fellow jew get a good “metziyah”- youre amazing.

    I dont know if this is the place to ask, but… i have average (maybe a little below average) credit, and i keep getting rejected by starwood and other “good” credit cards (having to do with points). How do i start building up my credit again? which credit cards should i apply for that wont reject me? is there any way to go around the system and get a starwood card? Any information would be extremely helpful, i would love to include myself in all the cool things you do with your credit cards.

    On another note, are there any “mailos” to becoming a member of southwest airlines? i hear alot about american, continental, and airtran from you, but southwest lets you fly with an extra bag which is a big plus for me.
    Thanks again,
    Liv
