AA has some nice policies in place on their award tickets that they have left intact. One is the unlimited free date and time changes that they allow at any time on mileage tickets.
However if you want to change the origin/destination city on a mileage ticket there is a $150 charge per ticket.
An award cancellation on AA is also $150, but all additional cancellations made at the same time are only $25 extra apiece!
So if you have a family of 4 traveling on miles and need to change the destination city you can either change it for $600 or just cancel and rebook it for just $225!
if you are re booking close to the flight it will cost you allot to rebook it and if its international you will have to pay new taxes to rebook
