Who here remembers when AA responded to a very similar Jetblue offer back in 2004 with a free systemwide ticket for flying twice between Los Angeles and Boston or NYC? It was nice going from Brazil to Dallas, New York, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Miami, and back to Sao Paulo all for the price of 2 LAX-JFK flights!

Jetblue murdered their trueblue system (late last year, I believe).
They offer 6 points per dollar spent when booking with the JetBlue Amex and 4 if not.
This offer gives you 12.
As a side point, I believe the extra two points per dollar when using the JB Amex is really just the points for spending on the card, which is one per dollar and two on certain purchases like JB flights.

How hard is it to get a ticket with old jetblue program?
They are offering a 25% bonus for buying points, enough
for me to get a r/t ticket, use up my points and get out their program.
