Same terms as AA’s offer, except it starts for travel from 09/03 and you get to choose between double elite miles and double elite segments! People that fly many short flights or flights with stops may have an easier time attaining elite status via flight segments that via miles.
And now we wait while Continental and Delta figure out what to do about balancing the need for incremental revenue versus bloating their elite ranks.
@gutenberg_03:
yes
do paper tickets qualify for Double EQM?
According to the offer terms, the Australian deal was only for certain class fares, not class “K”, which I flew on. In any case, the extra EQM showed up only after I registered for this promotion, even though I flew to the USA twice in the several months prior.
@Premier Executive:
All Australians got 2x EQM for the year.
Yes I do.
@Premier Executive:
Sweet!
Do you have an Australian address on your account by any chance?
I signed up for this promo, and within 24 hours, my United account showed up double EQM, for all my flights FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR, bumping me up from Premier to Premier Executive.
Anyone else had a similar experience?
The link doesn’t let you sign up.
