About Silvercar:
Silvercar is a new-age car rental company that has a fleet of the Audi A4, Q5 SUV, Q7 SUV, and A5 Cabriolet convertible.
Cars come with built-in GPS, satellite radio, bluetooth, leather seats, and even a free WiFi hotspot. Unlimited miles are included in every rental.

You can rent from Silvercar as long as you are at least 22 years old with no underage fees.
There is no additional fee for adding additional authorized drivers to your reservation.
You only pay when you pickup the car, nothing is charged beforehand and there are no cancellation fees ever.
Both AMEX and Chase cover the CDW insurance for an Audi A4, A5, Q5, or Q7, just select personal coverage when renting and write AMEX, Chase, etc.
The Chase Sapphire Preferred card will include primary insurance and earn 2 points per dollar. The Chase Sapphire Reserve card will include primary insurance and earn 3 points per dollar, plus Silvercar rentals qualify for the $300 travel credit.
No AMEX cards come with primary coverage, but you can add primary coverage for $20/rental by calling AMEX and enrolling in primary car rental CDW coverage.
Silvercar Rewards:
Silvercar recently launched their own rewards program.
You can now earn 1 point per dollar spent on all rentals. When you make a rental it will say how many points you’ll earn.
You can view your points balance when you login to your account.
Points don’t expire as long as you have any activity every 5 years.
You can use your points for rental credit with 100 points worth $10. You can pay for part or all of a rental with points.

a recently added condition to its T&Cs is that the referrer must previously had a rental before a referral GC to be issued or rewarded; happened to me after learning that after a GC had not been received
What’s your email address? I didn’t get the referral and Silvercar needed your name and email address.
Always been happy with my silvercar rentals, and I’ve always found deals to put them more inline with other car companies.
The only issue I have of late is that they started to charge a fee for using their toll passes (this wasn’t the case)

Just putting it out there if you add the 20 primary coverage through amex and when you return the car you use another card you will not be charged $20 (assuming no damage happens this is a great loophole)

I notice you didn’t write about them not charging toll fees and their 9.95 gas fee. Have things changed?
They now charge a one time $4.95 fee for using the toll tag, and then the actual cost of the tolls. And then a $9.95 service fee to fill up, plus the actual cost of the fuel. Still an infinitely better deal than Hertz.
