Booking connecting rooms makes sense for families, but it’s not easy to do so. Hotels chains haven’t offered the ability to book connecting rooms, which means you need to contact a hotel directly to ask about connecting rooms. Some hotels will only put in a request and won’t actually guarantee a connecting room, which makes things tough for families.
We have 4 kids ranging from 1 to 9 years old, so having a connecting room is pretty critical.
Hilton now offers the ability to book confirmed connecting rooms on paid and award rates at select hotels. It’s still being rolled out globally, so more properties will be added to the program in the future.
