well between Uber, Saks and Airline credit it is really only $50 and if you have Schwab Platinum you can convert those points to pure cash at .0125 per point. In fact explorer card really costs more at $95 a year.
not everyone values the Uber, Saks, and airline credit at face value…….In fact I personally don’t even value those benefits at 50% value….The airline credits are meaningless for me if I cannot buy gift cards with them or use them for airfare…..I don’t shop at Saks so that benefit is worthless. You can buy Uber Gift cards online for 15-20% off….Everyone has different preferences and value….

How much do you value a United mile? I have found they’re worth much more for foreign travel than domestic…. but never got a value straight.
