So after you book and stay at any Marriott (with new membership and payment), as long as it’s before 11/28 -then you get the certificate?
It seems that SPG properties are excluded (if you follow the link “For a list of current Marriott Rewards participating brands”). Only Marriott and Ritz properties count.
So then open a new account, get the cert and points, then merge accounts afterwards.
