You could do it with Bluetooth all you need to do is hold the back button of the airpods case and a white light will appear and when that light turns on (and blinks) go to Bluetooth on your phone and connect to airpods. Since you do not have a apple device you will not have features like finding your airpods or like renaming you airpods.
