the rebate form says that it must be postmarked with 45 days, is that from the order date or the ship date?
(since I would only get this item 45 days after the order date, would that disqualify me from getting the rebate)
45 days from the order date.
You can always cancel an Amazon item before it ships, and I’ve found Amazon’s estimated delivery times to be very conservative. I always get Amazon items well before the estimated date.
I just checked the status of the rebate http://sg.mycheckstatus.com/ and it comes up “Non-qualifying: An original Order/Rebate form is a requirement of this offer.”
so I called them and was told that you must have an original rebate form from the manufacturer, and that the PDF on Amazon and Buy.com was posted illegally.
so I called Amazon, and they gave me a $30 credit to my CC, but for thoese who got this through buy.com I’m not sure what you’re options are…
