Just make sure because now they’re telling me there is linen in many of the suits and they didn’t know about it before. When I spoke to them originally there was no linen(they thought)
Again, the phone reps don’t know what they’re talking about.
The linen suits clearly say they have linen, other ones do not.
People have brought these to Shatnez checkers without issues.
I just called them and asked about shatnez (said I was allergic to linen). They first said there’s no linen in the suit. They then called me back a few minutes later and said that there is linen in the inside lining. It’s not in the material itself, so it’s potentially something a shatnez checker can fix, but they said that every suit they sell has linen as part of the lining.
End of my story is that I got it checked and no linen was found. They paid for the testing and fix.
It seems that there may have been cross contamination of some threads into their suit last spring and someone called up to say they found linen. So we definitely have to check but unlikely to find a problem.

URGENT: I love my infoChino suit that I bought in January, But I question them repeatedly about whether Linen was in the suit and they kept saying NO. I Just asked about linen in the current black suit that I was buying and now they’re telling me there is one in both suits!!!!!
I don’t know how they will proceed with with me but this is very very upsetting!!!!!
I initially told him that my husband had a severe breathing allergy to Linen As I don’t want to go into the intricacies of why We really don’t want linen.

Again, I found this to be the case from 3 or 4 phone reps. Originally they said there was none, then they said there was in the lining. I know that shatnez places usually check the collar, some of the lining and a few other places on the suit, they don’t check everywhere, just the places that usually have shatnez. Since they don’t have linen in the places that commonly have it, a shatnez place won’t find it. Just my $0.02.
