Download the Starbucks mobile app and purchase $10 in credit via Visa Checkout. Then you will receive a $10 Starbucks eGift Card to the email address associated with your Starbucks account within 5 business days of the load.
The terms say “you are not guaranteed to receive a bonus load. supplies are limited.” but does not specify how many people will be eligible. With past promotions the promotion page would display when it is is full.
The Promotion Period runs from 9:00 AM PST on 9/1/16 and ends the earlier of (a) when all Bonus Loads are distributed or (b) at 11:59 PM PST on 9/30/16.

This deal is still alive. I did not receive my promo card so I called Starbucks, 1-800-782-7282, and they loaded $10 onto my card. They said that Visa was overwhelmed by the response and could not keep up.

@Shimon: I see the same thing. I set up a visa checkout account with my CSP, then clicked ‘add card with Visa Checkout’ and loaded $10. Not sure if I’ll see the extra $10 this way though, I’ll let you know if I do.

It’s only “Add Card With Visa Chechout” in the App, there’s no way to pay with Visa Checkout
