But the crazier thing here is that both codes are taking the discount off the original price. Gap Inc stackable codes almost always take the discount for a 2nd code off of the already discounted price.

If you add $107.15 of items to your cart you’ll pay $50 after the codes and get free shipping. But that’s only an effective 53% discount.
So this is one of these rare cases where you’ll come out ahead by paying shipping.

I made 4 separate orders. 1 was shipped and 3 were cancelled. I called, and was told that this was a mistake as those 2 promo codes cant be combined, but they allowed one order to go thru as a courtesy. They allowed me to replace the other 3 orders over the phone with whichever code I want.

And for all who blame me for canceled orders, I made one order. I think ppl that made 10-14 orders raised ALOT more attention than I did! I bet that’s what got them on the case. They were kind to me and worked to accommodate. I clearly wasn’t playing monkey business in their books to make them need to rush to stop it.

I made 1 order with 1 item and they cancelled. I was NOT happy. Customer service was completely unhelpful. I filed a complaint with both the BBB and the fair trade commission
Also had my order cancelled. I ordered on Thursday night (in time before the deal officially expired), and the cancellation email was sent on Saturday morning.

I think i placed 17 orders, and 7 were cancelled or partially cancelled. i reordered one set of items bec even $25 off 50 was a good deal…obv with the 30% off it was MUCH better, but still was decent without it. really excited abt the super cheap stuff though in the orders that did ship!

@mindy, most of my orders shipped. nothing was canceled. i did have to do a bit of playing around with the things in the bags, but got it all. staples had to be inputted first on my end or the whole price jumped up.

I spent a lot of time til I found anything interested in.
Put the codes in and had both working fine for total $14.
I was putting in my cc and about to verify when I saw the price jumped to $19. Moments later price jumped to $23…. All this in mid of checkout. I called a rep to tell them price keeps jumping in my cart and I want the $14 (wish I would’ve taken screenshot before price jump!
Rep said to put order through as is and she’ll adjust it after so I did.
Then she did some math and decided that the price I was charged is correct. I did the math for her again and showed her my price was right not hers. She said she feels terrible and will have a supervisor try to help but I wasn’t able to stay on the phone longer unfortunately so she gave me email and said she put the notes on account. Meanwhile I emailed but I don’t know what will happen…

It worked for me- I noticed though- the more I added to my cart- the more the price of the items went up. I made brought my order down to 4 items- and the savings really maximized.

it was suggested that theoretically one could make purchases as suggested (as close to $50 as possible) and then use the $50 gap cash to repurchase the same items only $25 less. Return first batch of items…site says gap cash will be emailed within 24 hours. I received mine in less than 1.

if i added more than 3 items to the cart, the staples discounts became less for each item.
test out which will give you more of a discount and make more than one order.

Shipping is calculated before discount- so my 10 orders shipped free. Each was around $12
