Just an update!!
The code never applied to My rides, I always had to contact them and they issued me a refund of 50% of the ride total,
3 good things came out of it
1) I took a ride for $34 and requested a refund for 50% and they gave me back $17 even though it’s more then the $10 limit
2) I took a ride today July 3, and asked them to give me refund even if it’s after the expiration date of the code, and to My surprise they issued me a 50% refund of the ride.
3) unused it for way over 10 rides and because it was always manually applied I was able to claim it every time.
I will try my luck as l oong as it works, but had to share my experience here for other users to enjoy as well.

Took a ride and it worked!
Promo applied to account and it seemed to work… Checked it about an hour later and promo is still on account but doesn’t seem to be applying promo to fares – did they shut it down?
I wonder now that Kalanick has been sacked if we’re going to see much more in the way of promos? I imagine Uber might need to demonstrate growth during the transition.

Your promo did NOT work. I want to get one uber on Jun 2, which is during the time and it says you have some promos left. It is not right to false advertise. let me know if one is available.
