I received a refund and a $5 coupon.
I got my refund a few days ago. (2 refunds actually, 1 for the items, and 1 for the shipping fee, totaling the complete amount)
I also, just a few minutes ago, received an apology from Ebay which included a $5 ebay coupon. The email stated that the error was Ebay’s alone and not the sellers.

No need to get upset, just open a case in the resolution center separately on all orders and request a full refund bcuz item wasnt recieved, it will take a few days and youll get your money back, still no reason to leave bad feedback for a seller that is a ‘Shlamazal’ and is lacking the basic CS skills …

I ordered 10 sets for delivery on monday march 30 (today). Ebay tracking was saying it was attempted delivery no thursday! I contacted the seller multiple times and no response. I received an email from ebay saying that my order was canceled and i would get a refund, 2 days later no refund.

I got my delivery on Friday!
I ordered one of each. I got a call on Friday telling me they would deliver between 12-6 pm. I got the order at 6:30 PM. Today I got an email from eBay apologizing for delivering after the scheduled time and telling me they’d refund my shopping fee!

I think ita aweful customer service and this was handled very poorly. I happen to have not seen the dans deals comment by the seller, so I have been in the dark for days now waiting for an order that I paid for that was supposed to take a few hours to deliver. I feel for the guy, trust me I do, but this was just VERY poorly done. Shavua tov all!

I don’t have a problem with either not getting the order or the order getting cancelled after I pressed “pay”, what I do have a problem with is that the seller should have at least responded to the people who emailed seller through ebay instead of just ignoring those emails. This shows total lack of respect for the customers and his letter of explanation on your site came way after the deal was done. I don’t care if he got a thousand emails, as a good businessman (which clearly he is not) a response was in order. For people who leave negative feedback to him – kol hakavod, He deserves it!

Some people need to run real business to pay rent and not pay with miles for everything. In business mistakes do happen. Leave the guy alone. Seems like this was an eBay sponsored promo (it was even featured on the now home page) but someone goofed and made the limit 10 instead of 1.
Don’t see the need to ruin the person’s business over that, though I do wish the communication was better. You win some and lose some in this game.

@Ben P.: id agree, except i left work and waited for three hours with no delivery cancellation notice, no response to messages, and even called the seller directly ( a business on new Utrecht called somoco i think) and was quite rudely told that it isn’t their problem, then hung up on. so yes, i want to be a bit vindictive.

This was handled very poorly on all ends. Everyone who purchased has the full right to leave negative feedback. If in fact it was ebay’s mistake let them eat the loss (they are a $60 billion company) I think they can afford it. If it was the sellers mistake let him reach out to EACH customer INDIVIDUALLY and sort it out.
When as a buyer we make a mistake many times the seller doesn’t accommodate us and we have to accept it. People have to learn how to accept responsibility for their mistakes. I’m not saying we should destroy the seller, all I’m saying is that we have a right to leave negative feedback if he didn’t keep his end of the deal and didn’t communicate with the buyers.
Everyone can make their own decision. I don’t think it’s fair to say people are greedy or mean if they want to pursue their bargain.

Negative feedback for what? I never get it when people capitalize on a price mistake, or a computer glitch, and cry foul if it doesn’t work out exactly to their liking. Be happy if it worked out. If not, move on. There may be a next time.

You obviously didn’t see that the deal was on the eBayNOW home page earlier this morning as an eBayNOW promoted deal.
I tried disputing the paypal charges, and it said I cannot, that I have to go the ebay resolution center. Since I didn’t get any delivery notification, nor the shipment (duh), if they don’t credit me for the full amount, I will just dispute the amex charge.

i got the shipping companies number and called them. they said that the seller ran out of stock and i should call them. i called the seller, but a nasty lady told me that there was only 250 total deals available, and that there was a 1 item limit per person. i asked her why none of that was posted on the ebay listing, and she said it wasnt her problem and hung up on me! i called ebay, but they said they cannot make the seller ship an item not in stock. now im checking to see if we at least get our monies refunded for shipping

Its a scam, my delivery was scheduled for Monday but the tracking shows “delivery unsuccessful march 26, 14:51.I was home at that time and besides why would they attempt delivery 4 days early?

The issue is that canceling in this way, according to their guidelines, makes us responsible for the $5 delivery charge.
To be honest, as much as I like a bargain if this is a mistake it’s ok if the seller cancels. I just wish he/she would let us know instead of this playing around.
Negative feedback will definitely help but isn’t necessary yet, email seller that if he’s not responding he’ll get negative feedback on all items from all of us.

They never tried to deliver the orders, just updated status saying delivery unsuccessful and now we are all going to pay the delivery fee for a delivery attempt that never happened on an order that they probably never intended to send to begin with.

I just read the Ebay Now FAQ. Seems that if you miss your delivery, then the items will be returned to the seller and you get a refund MINUS THE DELIVER FEE.

@good sam: Maybe, but who here is buying one roll of paper towels at full price? I wait till a multiple pack is on sale. Ditto for every item there, I’m not buying small bottles, I buy several gallons and use that to refill my spray bottles, etc.
Plus, most of us don’t need all the items there, but for $1.50, I’ll get the whole kit.

You are a very greedy person… use ur brain im sure no1 in the world would want you to buy 150 of this kind of deal, yes your right you found a way that you can order it multiple times and you know what maybe the ebay seller is just a idiot and naive and he didnt think there would be ppl like you buying 150 or however much you want to buy of a item… the whole world would be a bad place if we looked at things “the way you see it”…
If I’m only getting one of each, I’d want to cancel it, as it’s not worth the shipping for me.

the term taking advantage is very vague, if u r using it as a negative connotation, yes , i disagree. whoever is advertising and marketing it at this reduced rate for whatever reason they so choose can (and apparently) did also decide and choose what the limit is…. if the 160/170 is more than they want to give, they make limits on the promo…
the way i see it, if its available, TAKE ADVANTAGE of the deal, and get as many as you can/want..

but, by the time i checked out they were unavailable.
it will only let you choose a time slot if you take 10 or less items. if you have more- you need to reduce first. then it will work.
I ordered two sets of 10 , and I got tracking ON both orders
any order past one is being cancelled

Just got a call from the store that said I will only be receiving one set. The rest will be refunded.
Ordering 170 sets is chazeirish, taking of advantage and will probably ruin it for the rest of us.

I’ve been selling with eBay now for a while. The $5 is charged by ebay for the courier service that picks up and delivers the merchandise.
There are no eBay sponsored promos underway now. I know the people who run ‘eBay now’. eBay only sponsor some of their deals on eBay deals – not the now project
