Do not buy this computer! I bought this exact one from Lenovo a few weeks back and had it returned.
First: The screen glare–Lenovo customer service admits that unless you’re willing to shell out over $900 (on sale), those upper cost ones are the ones with the anti-glare screen. Why make screens that glare?
Second: Viewing angle of the screen: Terrible
Third: The numeric keypad–check out the zero–it’s not double the size and easy to reach like on a regular keyboard–and overall I was not too impressed with the touch of the keyboard
Fourth:The speed–I wasn’t even using anything other than the internet and the DVD player, but I found the internet to not be terrifically quick for an i7 processor
Fifth:The oversensitive mouse–don’t even touch, just hover within an inch of the click and it will click automatically at times.
Sixth:Now this may have been my particular G50, but the PowerDVD player kicked in without me starting it–got out of the shower, came out, heard a noise, and saw it had started by itself.
While Lenovo is a good name, this computer I’d stay away from–in fact, any Lenovo that isn’t truly high end.
