HT: Name Changed
If anybody would like to buy the xps 15, please email me at 2000stuff456@gmail.com. Price: $650 firm.
well dell called me back today to reinstate my order that they canceled. when i asked what changed their minds they said that the supervisors had a major meeting today and they were told to honor the order. the guy on the phone told me that he had a long list of people he was gonna call back. so i guess my order wasn’t the only one canceled.
@Mark: Mine was delivered today.
dell has cancled my order stating that they understand that it was their error but non-the-less they reserve the right to cancel!
did anyone else have that problem?
appears DEAD, what a shame.
Not dead!
Mike, its NOT about killing deals.
It is also selfish to keep it to yourself, people rely on different sources to receive information. The internet is about communication and sharing.
Who’s wocman? The guy that posted it on sd?
wocman, you selfishly managed to kill this deal, all for the sake of some meaningless reps.
And now they’ll probably cancel orders. Lame, just lame. Next time don’t post deals on sites where deals go to die.

Try clearing your cookies.
@Tzali: Try again, this time click on the cheapest warranty (as Dan wrote in the article under “important”!)
I guess nothing for me. The links just doesn’t work for me.
What is original price on these? Is there any benefit to 17″ other than size?
If you have synced and tweeted go for the 17 inch XPS and drop in another wireless mice or anything so you can make the total 599+. I did order just now and will receive 100 back.
Is the only difference between the XPS 15 and the XPS 17 the size of the screen?
can i flip it?
Is this really such a great deal?
@Josh:
Who knows!
@dracs:
Yes.
@bs:
If you spend $599 total with the help of upgrades, sure.
@Tzali:
You missed the important section then.
I dont see $436, I see $680 then after coupon $580 on the 15……
does the amex $100 work on this?
is the website loading?
@hunch:
Hunch, is this a price mistake? It looks like a legit coupon.
@Josh:
In my experience they don’t actually charge that.
Hopefully someone else will chime in and confirm that as well.
@Dan:
Their return policy says they MAY charge a 15% fee even within 21 days. But I have no idea what this means.
@hunch:
That’s true for any good deal!
@Anonymous:
With AMEX, as long as you have any active AMEX card with the coverage you want to claim (warranty, return, etc) then they will cover it, even if the card you bought it on is cancelled!
@Josh:
I don’t think Dell charges any restocking fees for returns made within 21 days.
Starwood’s 90 day return coverage only is for items up to $300.
Sapphire Preferred does have $500 return coverage, though they are much harder to deal with and the warranty protection from them isn’t nearly as good.
If I buy on the Starwood card can I return without a restocking fee if I change my mind?
Hi Dan:
If some one purchases anything on an Amex Card like you say to do, but then cancels the card, does the Warranty still apply? what if you open a new card, & donlt hav the same one you made the purchase with?
Thanx Dan!
ATTN: DO NOT CALL DELL ABOUT THIS DEAL. CALLING WILL KILL THE DEAL.
Chag sameach.
