With OBi it doesn’t make a difference where in the world you plug it in…
To get Google voice to ring in Canada, the following worked a few years ago, not sure if so works… try calling the gv# from your Canadian number and make it as a temporary fwding number (it stays till you change it again) good luck

I want to get this product so I just called TW and asked how my bill would change if i cancelled my phone service and they said because i have bundle package now (TV, iNet and Phone) if i cancelled phone, my bill would jump to $200ish from 170ish now. Any thoughts on how to fight this?

@Martin: Obi is not an answering machine. You should have one connected to OBI (i.e phone w/ AM)
Does anybody know if this device has the ability to have a greeting when someone calls it? (such as You’ve reached DansDeals to advertise press 1 etc.)
@scott “YOU ARE ABLE TO VIEW THE CALLER ID WITH GOOGLE VOICE” And here is how! – Go to settings > calls > caller ID – And choose Display caller’s number.
