dispute the charge
I ordered 4 China Glatt certificates on cyber monday, and when I called China Glatt to use them, they told me that They never authorized Resturants.com to sell them. What should I do, dispute the charges or contact Resturants.com for comphensation?

who use to take these………….. he said the company running that website screws them over horribly. i have noticed that eventually lots of restaurants leave them………..
he told me that the only way to really make the certificates work is if your restaurant is very strict with pricing, and set up in a very specific way which accommodates their methodology, i.e. everything has to work just so.
anything outside the ordinary is a nightmare, and if you give discounts, and restaurants.com sees that you did, or when you accept them for a take out order or something (maybe a customer had to leave, so even though it’s against the rules on the certificate, you want to make it right by them, etc.) and they see that you did, or a customer refuses to give the mandatory tip (even legitimately because they are upset or something whatever) they may reject them leaving you on the hook for the order.
so all in all, they are very inconvenient to deal with and a real PITA. anyways, that’s why a lot of places just drop out.
Does anyone know how the website works? Who puts the restaurant on in the first place? I bought a couple of these and now they are not taking them.

Note to anyone who purchased coupons to Rare Steakhouse in MB (when they were offered a few weeks ago). Rare is not honoring the coupons. They will give credit for only the $12 paid for the coupon.
When i see this deal I know its a slow deal day.
